YIN YOGA

Yin yoga is calm, slow yoga, beneficially relaxes muscles, tension in the body and teaches us to listen to our body. It includes the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, it stays in the asanas for a longer time (1-5 minutes). The reason is that this type of yoga focuses mainly on parts of the center of our body, that is, bones, connective tissue, especially the area below the knees and above the navel. Longer endurance is kept here in order to be able to relax and very gently relax the muscles in the parts of the body that we want to work on.

How the lesson goes:

In yin yoga lessons, we try to release tension in the muscles and, conversely, focus on stretching the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, fascia, joints). That is, tissues that are of great importance for the range of motion. Jin yoga focuses mainly on the lower (yin) part of the body – the lower part of the spine, pelvis, joints and lower limbs. Great emphasis is placed on yin yoga on the individual physical possibilities of the body, on the bone structure, which, like the fingerprint, is our original. The movements are performed with awareness and respect for our body, its limits and possibilities. Jin yoga is great for beginners, as the lessons are not demanding, and at the same time you learn to fully feel every muscle in them, thanks to the longer endurance.

Beneficial consequences of yin yoga:

  • joint flexibility
  • strengthening immunity
  • it releases excess tension and brings a feeling of calm and lightness
  • affects the health of specific organs in the same way as acupuncture
  • calming down
  • correct body posture
  • removal of back pain
  • prevention against varicose veins
  • cleansing of the lymphatic system
  • stress relief
  • increase momentum and flexibility

What to bring:

Bring a towel and a drink. We will lend you an exercise mat. If you have your own, you can bring it.
