Cross Training for Beginners
Cross Training for Beginners is designed for anyone who wants to get into functional and strength training but has little to no prior experience. The main goal is to learn proper technique for fundamental exercises, understand how to work with different equipment, and gradually build strength, stability, and confidence in movement.
During the sessions, you will be introduced step by step to essential weightlifting and strength exercises such as clean, power clean, snatch, power snatch, squats (front squat and back squat), and deadlift. The training also includes working with the barbell, kettlebells, dumbbells, and your own bodyweight.
We will also focus on overhead movements, technique for kettlebell and dumbbell swings and snatches, as well as popular functional exercises like burpees, devil press, and bar work (e.g. pull-ups or toes to bar).
The class is conducted at a slower pace to ensure there is enough time to properly explain and practice each movement. The main focus is on technique, safety, and gradual progress.
At the end of each session, you will complete a short workout that connects the learned movements into a simple training format—so the class is not only about technique, but also about fun and effective exercise.
This class is ideal for anyone who wants to start cross training from the basics, improve overall fitness, and learn how to train properly and safely.
