Functional training
Functional training is a comprehensive form of exercise focused on developing the body’s natural movement patterns. It combines bodyweight exercises with the use of various equipment and is designed to improve strength, explosiveness, stability, mobility, coordination, and overall fitness. The exercises are based on movements we use in everyday life and in sports, helping to build a strong, functional, and well-balanced body.
Each session consists of four parts:
- Warm-up – increasing body temperature and activating the muscles, preparing the body for physical load
- Mobility – mobilization and activation exercises to improve range of motion and stability
- Main part – functional exercises using bodyweight and equipment, focused on strength, explosiveness, and conditioning
- Cool-down and stretching – muscle relaxation, stretching, and support of recovery
